Today is the fathers day in Sweden.
The bible say; Honour your mother and father.

How about all millions of kids that have no mother and father?
What about yourself if you don´t have them?
What if you aren´t a mother of father yourself?

Who shall you honour then, when all others honour their mother and father?


Why don´t the bible say; honour your children?

Too right. How about the even large number of children who have physically and/or mentally abusive fathers and mothers. Must a child with no choice show his abusers honor?

We must love our family, it´s like a law , it´s live.
Children are lovely, it´s dificult not to like.

Aurera, yes, we love our own families, the love between parents and their children, but in so many cases
families are destroyed by so many things.

This came to my mind when it´s the fathers day here, and so many have no father, and they know all friends and all they know are celebrating their fathers.
How do they feel. How do they feel if they only have sad memories of their fathers?

I feel the days we celebrate lost humans we have loved so deeply are holy sacred, and shall stay.

The workers day almost all world have is also to stay, their rights is a must.

National holidays is a must, old traditions to keep, forever.

But today, I think there´s a lots of sadness around, and think days like mothers and fathers day should be removed.

Why not have friendship days, to reunion with old mates you haven´t seen for a long time, or your close friends, to have a special day.

Unfortunately the truth around the world is going in the direction that many families are destroyed, and I don´t want this sadness around the world a day like this.

Many families are great! Remember how lucky you are if you live in one of those! I am!
But I think of many I know that all share a day with tears today.

fathers day is another crappy virtual feeling day :P

Danny, true again, my father looked me in the eyes two days ago and asked;

My reply was; yes father, and the last time I took my stuff and never moved back, I was 17.

What about the fathers rapes his daughter/-s?
How on earth do they feel like a day like this?

We really should rename it to something else, or take it away forever.
